The Confidence to Take Up Space

On fashion as communication, her grandmother's legacy, and creating pieces that help women walk taller.
The Beginning
Sylvia Salaita, founder and creative director of Zoyeh Studio, has always believed that fashion is more than appearance. It is identity.
Raised in Madaba, Jordan, she studied fashion design in Florence before spending three years working in Dubai's fashion industry. Returning home, she launched Zoyeh Studio, bringing together international experience, personal storytelling, and a vision rooted in confidence.

I didn't create a brand to follow fashion. I created it to help women discover themselves.
Creativity Came First
Long before fashion became her profession, creativity shaped Sylvia's everyday life.
She altered her clothes, sketched shoes, designed jewellery, and transformed fabrics into tiny garments for her Barbies. Looking back, those childhood experiments became the first chapters of her design journey.

Creating has always been part of who I am.
When Fashion Found Her Voice
Growing up, Sylvia found it difficult to approach people.
Fashion became her way of communicating.
An outfit, a colour, or an unexpected detail often started conversations she never felt confident enough to begin herself. Through clothing, she slowly discovered her own voice.
Fashion became my language before words ever could.
The Story Behind Zoyeh
Every great brand carries a story.
For Sylvia, that story begins with her grandmother, Zoya, whose name is pronounced Zoe in Arabic.
Her grandmother lived a quiet life devoted to her family. She never searched for recognition, yet she left behind something far greater: strength, generosity, resilience, and unconditional love.
The two shared a special bond from Sylvia's earliest memories. They both knew how to sew, but Sylvia believes what connected them most was something much deeper than craft. It was a shared spirit.
Naming the brand Zoyeh Studio became Sylvia's way of honouring a woman whose influence shaped her life in silence.
Today, every collection carries not only a designer's vision, but the legacy of a grandmother whose name now travels around the world.
Her name continues to live not only as a label, but as a reminder that one woman's quiet strength can inspire generations.
Confidence Above Everything
If there is one word that defines Zoyeh Studio, it is confidence.
Not confidence created by trends.
Not confidence built on approval.
But the confidence that comes from feeling completely comfortable in your own skin.
Every collection begins with one question:
How will this make a woman feel? If she walks a little taller, I've done my job.
The Philosophy of Zoyeh
Sylvia believes fashion should never define a woman.
Instead, the woman should define the garment.
Many Zoyeh Studio pieces are designed with versatility, allowing each woman to wear them in her own way.
For Sylvia, the most beautiful moment is seeing someone style a piece differently than she imagined.
That is when fashion becomes personal.
The piece should adapt to her, not the other way around.
Designing With Emotion
Every Zoyeh Studio collection begins with a feeling before it becomes a garment.
Personal experiences, memories, and moments in life shape each design long before fabrics are chosen.
Sylvia believes that clothing becomes meaningful when it tells a story women can recognise within themselves.
Fashion becomes timeless when it carries emotion.
The Woman of Zoyeh
The Zoyeh woman isn't trying to be anyone else.
She is expressive. Confident. Curious.
She embraces contradiction: bold yet soft, feminine yet powerful.
She dresses for herself before she dresses for anyone else.

Her individuality is the most beautiful thing she wears.
The Bloom Pants
One design changed everything.
When a client reluctantly tried on the Bloom Pants, she believed they would never suit her.
Moments later, she walked out of the fitting room transformed. Her posture changed. Her smile changed. Most importantly, the way she saw herself changed.
For Sylvia, that moment became the true purpose of Zoyeh Studio.

More than selling clothes, I want women to discover new versions of themselves.
Building Something Different
Launching an independent fashion brand meant becoming everything at once: designer, creative director, marketer, producer, and problem solver.
It also meant protecting a vision that many people did not immediately understand.
Rather than changing the brand to fit expectations, Sylvia chose to remain faithful to her own.
Sometimes you're creating something the world hasn't seen yet.
Proudly Built in Jordan
Although the journey brought challenges, Jordan became the home where Zoyeh Studio found its identity.
It is where Sylvia built her team, refined her vision, and proved that creativity born in Jordan can resonate far beyond its borders.
Jordan gave me the foundation to build the dream.
Redefining Luxury
For Sylvia, luxury is not measured by logos or price tags.
Luxury is the feeling a garment leaves behind.
It is confidence. Craftsmanship. Emotion.
And the quiet certainty that what you are wearing reflects who you truly are.

Luxury is how something makes you feel.
Looking Ahead
Sylvia envisions Zoyeh Studio becoming an internationally recognised brand while remaining deeply personal.
She hopes women across the world will remember the brand not only for what it creates, but for how it makes them feel.
The dream is global. The heart will always remain personal.
A Message to Women
Every dream begins before anyone else believes in it.
Sylvia encourages women to trust their vision, even when the path feels uncertain.
Confidence is not something you wait for. It is something you build.
One step at a time.
Own your vision. Keep showing up. The rest will follow.
The Human Thread
Fashion gave Sylvia a voice.
Her grandmother gave the brand its name.
Confidence gave it its purpose.
And women continue to give it meaning.
The most beautiful thing a woman can wear is the confidence to become herself.
